This Privacy Notice is issued by Vision Resonance ltd (trading as "VR-Inventa", "we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for the personal data we process about you in connection with the VR-Inventa platform and related services.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials, organization, role.
- Customer support data: messages, attachments, and metadata from support requests.
- Usage and telemetry data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, error logs.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
- Content you submit: bookings, inventory entries, uploads, and configuration you provide.
- Marketing data: communication preferences and engagement with our emails (where applicable).
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To provide the service (creating accounts, delivering features) — performance of a contract.
- To secure the service (fraud prevention, abuse detection) — legitimate interests.
- To improve the service (analytics, debugging) — legitimate interests.
- To provide customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- To send marketing communications (where you opt in) — consent.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, requests from authorities) — legal obligation.
4. Who we share your data with
- Service providers and sub-processors who help us run VR-Inventa (hosting, analytics, email delivery, support tooling).
- Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the sale of our paid products, subscription management, payments, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund processing. Personal data necessary for these activities (such as your name, email, billing address, and payment details) is shared with Paddle and processed under Paddle's own privacy notice.
- Professional advisers such as legal, accounting, and audit firms.
- Authorities and regulators where required by law or to protect our rights.
- Acquirers in the event of a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale).
5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, as applicable.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above, to comply with our legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting requirements), and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging) to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
